PTA

Welcome to the HPAPW PTA!

The aim of the PTA is to work with families and staff at HPAPW to support a thriving and connected community.  We do this in a variety of ways, from a friendly wave at the school gate, to sharing information in newsletters and on our social media channels, and of course by fundraising for additional resources to enhance learning and experiences for our young people during their time at HPAPW. There’s always something to do in our busy and friendly school!

Everyone in the HPAPW community wants the very best for our amazing children – if you would like to help, or have an idea or suggestion, please get in touch. You can follow us on Instagram and ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) for updates and reminders about events and PTA news -  find us @PurleyWayPTA on all our social media channels.  Our email address is info@purleywaypta.org

Parents, Carers and Families can get involved in many different ways – perhaps you can give an hour of your time to help at an after-school cake sale, run a stall at the Summer Carnival or Christmas Fair or assist with our pre-loved uniform sales?  Maybe you can buy a raffle ticket, share a fundraising message on your social media, or donate an item for a Tombola – it all counts, and getting involved in your child’s learning environment and the wider school community is very rewarding!

The PTA is a registered charity (number 1197720) and is formalised under a set constitution. We hold an Annual General Meeting where the PTA Committee is elected to run the PTA each year. The Committee are the Trustees of the charity and must meet the requirements of the Charity Commission, including ensuring that annual reports and accounts are submitted.

Regular Fundraising Support

In addition to events and activities over the academic year, our families and friends can support the HPAPW PTA fundraising efforts by signing up to the following initiatives:

Your School Lottery is a weekly lottery with a guaranteed winner each week.  The more tickets sold, the greater the prize pot.  There’s also the chance to win the jackpot prize of £25,000! Tickets are £1 each, and players must be over 18 to take part.

You can also help us to raise funds – at no extra cost to you – by shopping via the Easyfundraising platform – please take a moment to find out more and register to help your PTA.  It’s a fantastic way to offer your support with little effort and no cost!

Uniform name labels

We know that sometimes items of uniform go astray – but clearly labelled items can be returned! The PTA receives a small commission if you choose name labels from the following companies:

Stikins Labels are multipurpose name tags that can be used to label clothing and fabric items, as well as shoes, bags, lunch boxes and water bottles. Please quote our fundraising number 36261 when placing your order.

Stamptastic is the fastest way to name your kids belongings. Stamptastic’s magic ink withholds 50 washes on care labels without fading.  Don’t forget to use your PTA code CR04FE when you place your order and earn a commission for your PTA.  PLUS get a £4.99 discount when you order the School Name Labels Deluxe Bundle, using the PTA Code CR04FE

Please do get in touch and get involved!
