School Meals

At Harris Primary Academy Purley Way, we believe it is important to teach children about the importance of eating fresh, healthy, cooked foods to keep our bodies and minds healthy.  We encourage children to try a variety of foods in a social and relaxed environment. Children enjoy eating with their teachers and learn to understand the importance of manners and social interaction during meal times.   All children have access to free school meals until year 2, which are cooked onsite.  The menu is updated and revised every three weeks to ensure children experience a range of foods and flavours.  If your child has any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements please ensure you tell the office and class teacher.  For children with special requirements we have a picture of the child listing their needs visibly displayed in dining area, for all kitchen and lunch time staff to be made aware of, to ensure their needs are met.
