Harris Academies
All Academies in our Federation aim to transform the lives of the students they serve by bringing about rapid improvement in examination results, personal development and aspiration.

Like our sister school, Harris Primary Academy Haling Park, we will have a brand new school building which is being built for us by Croydon Council on the site of what was once an Infants School at the junction of Propeller Crescent and Purley Way. The full address for the school is Harris Primary Academy Purley Way, 47 Propeller Crescent, Waddon, CR0 4FE.

Our building will be bright, welcoming and spacious, with everything an outstanding primary school could need. This includes classrooms equipped with the latest technology, high-quality indoor and outdoor play spaces and a hall for the whole school to get together.

Initially for the first year of operation we are in high quality temporary accommodation on the long term site with the new building due to be ready for us to occupy in September 2017. We are used to opening schools in temporary buildings and these have always provided us with a small school and secure feel for our first year with classrooms, administrative offices and hall all being clustered together, with the play area around it, securely fenced. This is perfect for reception children starting school.
